Why does Eurofins MWG Operon call their basic purification oligos: Salt-Free?

0

Unlike most oligo manufacturers, Eurofins MWG Operon does not use liquid ammonia for deprotection. As our oligos are never exposed to ammonia they are not contaminated with ammonia salts. To increase the purity of our basic oligo further, we also desalt all oligos to remove any chemicals left from the synthesis and deprotection processes. This is why our oligos are called salt free.
