Why does gospel of Apostle Paul create so much misunderstanding?
Paul’s teachings somehow were affected by his background before being saved as well as reflected on his experiences of being a new creation in Christ. Before, he was the fierce persecutor of Christ, a hardcore sinner who was not only forgiven but yet chosen by Christ to spread the good news (gospel) to the gentiles. This warning of misunderstanding had been put forth by Apostle Peter in: 2Pe 3:16″….his letter contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other scriptures, to their own destruction.” Thus, to understand Paul teaching, one must have possessed the indwelling of Holy Spirit to be the councillor of understanding and wisdom. Jude, the half brother of Jesus, also wrote in: Jud 1:4 ” For certain men whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in amongst you. They are the Godless men, who change the grace of God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord”.
