Why does Judd-Tomlin Wedding Photography use 2 photographers when most studios only use 1 photographer?

There are several important reasons for using 2 photographers at a wedding. The first reason is that with all of the different activities occurring at a wedding, it's relatively difficult for 1 photographer to 'cover it all'. The second is that 2 photographers rarely 'see' the same photograph. This works in our advantage of ensuring that the couple will have excellent photographic coverage - taken from various photographic perspectives. Third, using 2 photographers allows us to easily duplicate 'critical' shots between 2 cameras. And fourth, using 2 photographers helps to reduce our stress and physical/mental workload.
