Why does Kahootz Movie Maker Installer 1.5 for Mac OS refuse to complete installation, telling me that there is already a newer version of Kahootz on my computer?
This is a known issue on OS 10.4, and will be corrected in future releases. In the mean time, you can resolve this problem by removing any existing Kahootz packages from your “Receipts” folder. To do this, go to the “Receipts” folder in the “Library” directory for the current user (ie: at “Current Login: Library: Receipts”) and delete any “Kahootz Update” packages you find there. Kahootz Movie Maker Installer 1.5 should now install correctly.
