Why does Kodak offer 4×6.5 and not a 4×6 size?
To provide a solution for consumers that works in all printers, which includes borderless printers and the HP PhotoSmart printers, we developed the 4×6.5 product as a universal solution. You can use this size with all inkjet printers. Generally the printable area is 1/2 inch less than the actual paper length. The extra half inch lets customers print pictures larger so they can get a true 4×6 print. • Why did Kodak eliminate the perforated area? Research told us that consumers prefer borderless prints and were dissatisfied with perforations because of the waste involved. To meet the consumer need and to provide a broad solution for all printers, we removed the perforated area. Consumers no longer need to trim additional paper when pictures don’t line up with the perforation either because of incorrect paper loading or software issues. • Can I use the 4×6.5 paper with Kodak EasyShare Software?
