Why does my computer clock keep going backwards 3 hours?

If the time “jumps” back 3 hours you do not have the correct time zone. Click on you clock (lower right corner) middle tab is “time zone” if you live in NY it should say GMT-5 Eastern time (US & Canada). If you look at the “intenet time” you will see that it will do an auto sync every 7 days , so if you just keep changing the time on the face of the clock it will be changed back again to whatever “time zone” you have on the next sync date listed in that tab!
