Standard EQD coaxial plugs have 4 contact lines. The RSLSteeper coaxial plug has 6 contact lines, the additional 2 lines carry information for hand programming. It is possible to use a standard EQD coaxial plug with a bebionic hand but this configuration will not allow the hand to be programmed whilst mounted on the prosthesis.
