Why does my Kenmore front load washer #417 flash & beep 9 times?
I’ve looked at my error code chart, but there is nothing stated for 9 flashes & beeps. I press the cancel button, but the 9 flashes & beeps continue. The only way to reset the washer and get it to work again is to unplug it. The washer will work normally for a couple of washes and then the 9 beeps and flashes return. Sears has come out and “supposedly” fixed the problem. The tech didn’t really know what was wrong with the washer. He thinks I had a bad door lock. He changed the lock and a week later….you guessed it….9 flashes & beeps. Today I wait for another tech from Sears to fix the problem. Any ideas what the 9 flashes & beeps stand for????
