Why does my Light colored imprint look horrible on Dark shirts?

Likely you have a bleeding problem from either 50/50 or 100% polyester fabric – read above. If it is cotton, you will notice a different look from bleeding (a uniform tint to the ink). The look will be of little fabric hairs “popping” to the surface of the ink. This is called fabric show through. Unlike bleeding, which is more uncontrollable, this can be avoided. Fabric show through is usually the affect of poor inks, improper mesh selection, too much pressure or a combination of factors.
