Why does my neutered male cat walk around meowing and spazzing out?

Sometimes cats just meow for no reason and go completely bonkers. One of my cats would just all of a sudden go running all through the house and act in a weird way. I’m not sure really what makes them do this but I think its normal and they’re just being playful. Just take him to the vet if you’re worried about it to make sure he’s ok.

He sounds as though he’s just being a typical cat. Nonchalant, random, like an enigma! He has his own routine of going bonkers, but he’s not letting anyone else in on it. He sounds very well cared for and as you say there is nothing really scary going on such as the dreaded vacuum. My kitten is like that, he has his own diary of craziness, like clockwork he’s climbing the curtains and then he’s on my lap asleep again! The only thing I might look out for is worms, if he’s wormed once or twice a year it shouldn’t be a problem. But my older cat used to yelp randomly and go a bit random, licking himself which turned out to be worms. But as you have said, if it continues you’ll take him to the vet. Maybe ask about the worms then, if you haven’t wormed him already. Apart from that, he sounds brilliant fun! Good luck! Also, is he an indoor or outdoor cat?
