I completely disagree with everyone previous. 1) Your computer was working fine for two years and now suddenly the mother board keeps going out. 2) You bring it back to the repair shop and because it keeps blowing out an doesn’t want to keep paying more, makes up an excuse. 3) As long as your outlet is grounded and you have a surge protector, the problem is with your computer You absolutely have a computer issue: Either the motherboard quality is poor or one or some of the components already installed is destroying the motherboard. I have never seen a power adapter cause a mother board to go out. Your technician is a cheap lazy person. Again, as long as your socket is grounded and you have a surge protector, there is no way you can be blamed. There is also no way he can possibly tell what caused the problem unless you told him you don’t have a surge protector or it’s not grounded. There are many people who never use a surge protector with their computers and do fine for decades. My gue
