Why does my spag bol go watery?

0

If you’re draining the pasta well it’s probably not that. I get watery spag bol if I don’t cook the sauce for long enough. Those jars contain loads of water and it can separate out. The best thing is to cook the sauce for longer than normal. Also mushrooms contain lots of water too, so try cooking those separately. If you make your own sauce it’s the same too, I need to simmer mine for about 30-40 minutes to get rid of all the excess water.
