Why does our AutoImage (thumbnail/snapshot) window display part of the AutoEDMS Form instead of the managed document? This Article Applies To: Product: AutoEDMS, 5.x, 6.x Sub Product: N/A, Commentary: The AutoEDMS “AutoImage” program may mistakenly take a snapshot of your AutoEDMS Form if there is a communications delay between your workstation and the network fileserver where the managed document files are stored… in other words, you may be having a “slow network” problem. In addition to the AutoImage issue, you may be noticing other AutoEDMS performance problems such as slow searching, long delays while creating new records, delays in bringing up documents in the viewer, etc. Network system performance problems are beyond the scope of this article and not generally caused by a problem within AutoEDMS proper – for assistance with this sort of issue, please contact your Information Systems or Network Support group.
