WHY DOES PEACHTREE HARD CODE THE PERVASIVE FILE DATES & SIZES INTO THEIR PRODUCTS?
We had one client who ran AccPac General Ledger and purchased our product. Because 20 users were to use MM2000 (our product) we also sold her Pervasive 7.0. She could not believe how installing MM2000 made her AccPac go so much faster. She kept asking why the AccPac people did not suggest Pervasive when she complained to them about how slow it was. A: Yes, we’re aware of the difficulties that Peachtree causes users of other software. Peachtree was recently acquired by Sage and we are working to remedy the situation as quickly as possible. We are aware of these difficulties with Dac Easy (Sage) as well.
