Why does Purgatory act strangely/not at all under Mac or Linux?

I’m currently developing Purgatory primarily under Windows. Thanks to the wxWindows library, Purgatory should work under Mac or Linux anyway, but sometimes it doesn’t. Currently, known bugs in Linux include incorrect speech balloon sizes and flickering. If you spot something else, let me know.
