Why does Replace Record keep turning off?
The “Replace” Record mode will only actually start to record once you play a note or turn a knob, until then it is only armed and waiting when set to “1st Note Record Enabled”. Once you actually start playing notes or CC’s into the Command Station it will record until the end of the Pattern and then go back into it’s armed status until you play another note. This is a design feature to protect the user from accidentally writing over data previously recorded at the start of the Pattern. If you do not have “1st Note Record Enabled”, the Command Station will begin recording as soon as you press TAP + REC, and stop recording at the end of the Pattern.
