Why does some lines and hatch created in AutoCAD gets distorted when opened in CADian?

Answer AutoCAD and CADian uses linetypes and Hatch Patterns, which are saved in acad.lin and acad.pat respectively in AutoCAD and icad.lin and icad.pat in CADian. Although one has imported data from AutoCAD to CADian but these supporting definitions (like linetypes, hatch patterns, fonts etc.) are also required to generate a drawing exactly as it was made hence they shall be copied if different from general.
