Why does Squeeze fail to compress to a Real Media File?
The problem is with the Real Media codec; it does not work when you use spaces in the names of the source file or the folders for your source file. There can also be problems when the name of the file you are exporting or the folder you are exporting to have spaces. Modify a source file that is not working and remove any spaces from the name. Then move the file close to the C drive in a folder with no spaces in it. Try to encode like this. If this works it means you will need to make sure the source files you are using are stored close to the c drive with no spaces in the names. You will need to be careful of your workflow to avoid spaces in names of file or folders.
