Why does Target charge a couple dollars more for extra large clothing compared to smaller sizes?
I have wondered this in passing also…and my guess would be that they do it because ‘they can’. seriously….if they charge more for the ‘extended sizes’ (walmart’s language for the same practice), then they should charge less for the extra small sizes since there is less material and less space, thread ect then there would be in the ‘regular sizes’. If people bytched about it they would probably stop if there was not legitimate reason for the overcharge. I would agree that the reason is probably MONEY plain and simple. I doubt that target cares about ‘health living incentives’, if they did, they wouldnt sell so much damn junk food and put so much of it right at check out…they also would not pump that fatty grease ladden popcorn smell throughout the store…
