Why does the AVR clock display the letter G once?

0

This only applies when the NMEA output from a GPS device is connected to the Serial Port and the GPS option in the menu is enabled. When the AVR clock receives valid NMEA data from the GPS device (but no more frequent than once every 5 seconds), it will display the letter G for 1 second. This can be turned off using the “Led Off” menu option.
