If you notice the cursor ‘jumps’ when attempting to select the thumbnail display of a video background or backdrop, the DPI setting of your screen display may the cause. Right mouse click on your Windows desktop. Select Properties>Settings>Advanced>General (tab). If the Display Setting is set higher than 96dpi, try reducing it to 96dpi. If the dpi is already set to 96, then try changing the color quality in the Display properties>Settings interface from “Medium” (16-bit) to “High” (32-bit).
