Why does the newest model (the HD PVR 2P) not have Series recording and DStv ON DEMAND and when will these features be available?
The new HD PVR model (HD PVR 2P) has been been launched in time for the World Cup Soccer. In order to meet these timelines, two functions available on the original HD PVR were temporarily omitted. These are the ability to set series recordings and the ability to use the DStv ON DEMAND catchup service. As soon as these two features have been developed they will be automatically downloaded to your PVR’s without you having to do anything.
