Why does the number of records actually uploaded is slightly less than the number of records in the file?
This is often due to duplicates in the file. Each time the system upload a file, it will only store the first unique customer records (see Faq 2 for an explanation of how a customer is uniquely identified). If a duplicate record is found in the same file when it is uploading, the duplicate will be ignored. In such situation, the total number of records actually uploaded would be the total number of records in the file minus the number of duplicate records. For example, if a customer is uniquely identified by customer id, and say, Q2, 2010 file contains the following records: Customer ID, Customer Name, ResCom, RMR 1, Name1, R, 350 2, Name2, R, 412 3, Name3, C, 4000 1, Name1, R, 350 Only the first three records will be stored. The last record, which is considered as a duplicate of the first (because of the same customer id–1), will be ignored.
