Why does the sun go orange at sunset?

0

As the earth rotates so that the sun appears to be going down, the suns rays have to penetrate more atmosphere before they can reach your eyes, the particles in the atmosphere scatter the photons of light increasing their wavelength and hence their colour changes to orange and various other pretty sunset colours. It doesn’t have anything to do with the moon (or puzzles). The idea that the moon an object 10,000,000 times smaller than the sun actually gets in the way of the sun is quite frankly, mad. If the sun was close enough to the earth for this to happen the earth would have a surface temperature so hot that the entirety of the earth would be liquid magma.
