Why does the USA bother giving Foreign Aid, when most other countries hate us?

0

Countries don’t provide foreign aid without getting something in return… By giving aid, the donor country and recipient make agreements that give the donor country some kind of benefit like access to resources, spreading influence, or support on issues. Sometimes aid is given in the form of a loan, meaning the country would have to pay them back in the future. Foreign aid is just a new form of imperialism. The donor country gets some sort of control over the country that they aid. Its not for that “warm fuzzy feeling” This is a large scale business, and there are a lot of things going on behind the scenes that the public doesn’t know about until years later, and sometimes never.
