Why does the word “Void” appear on Copy A of SSA approved Form W-2?
Pursuant to SSA Publication 1141, General Rules and Specifications for Substitute Forms W-2 and W-3, the word “Void” must appear on Form W-2 (Copy A) in order to identify the “Void” box.
