Why does Tisch Hospital need more elevators and a refurbished main lobby?
The existing elevator capacity is insufficient to adequately serve current pedestrian traffic. This leads to long wait times for elevators and overcrowding in the main lobby. Adding four new elevators will speed access to the floors above, alleviate overcrowding in the lobby and improve the overall environment at Tisch Hospital.
