Why does vacuuming soapy water (or other surfactants) cause my filter to stop working?
• We do NOT recommend vacuuming up soapy water or other liquids containing high levels of surfactants / solvents. These materials can wet-out our filter media and allow water to pass through the filter media. It will also damage the filters ability to be cleaned and reused and will void the 1-year limited product warranty.
