Why does vietnam have stormy weather?
The reason for Vietnam receiving more than it’s share of storms compared to other countries is due to it’s location. The entire country is located between the equator and the Tropic of Cancer. Vietnam has a coastline that is longer than the coastline between San Diego, California and Seattle, Washington and doesn’t stretch very far inland. With all that in mind, sooner or later it’s going to rain a lot pretty much anywhere in the country. The most severe storms are during the typhoon season (from July till November). Such storms are renowned for devastating Central Vietnam. Typhoons give a double punch to Vietnam. The storm itself devastates as it hits land and the massive amount of water as the storm continues o dump rain inland bring more carnage.
