Why does warm air go up? And what happens to the cold air?
Warm heat has low density because heating any substance increases the distances between molecules of that substance and hence the density becomes less and cooling any substance decreases the distance between the molecules of that substance and hence its density becomes high. the substance having high density becomes heavier than the substance having low energy.
