Why does water from my auto a/c kill the grass?
The reason the grass or plants around your vehicle dies when your air conditioning overflow water comes into contact with it, is due to the toxic chemical ethylene glycol which is part of your air conditioner’s coolant. Ethylene glycol is an extremely toxic chemical to plants. It can stop normal growth patterns in grass or kill it.

It’s because your car produces a lot of chemicals as was mentioned by Marina above. It’s hard not to expect that from cars, but the situation gets even worse if you have a defective AC. I know what I’m talking about because I usually have a bad experience with auto ACs, lol. It’s hard to find a good air conditioner, especially for a huge car like mine. I also had issues with the air conditioner at my home, but at least there I eventually solved the problem. It was some kind of an error with the cooling mechanism, so I had to contact a company that provides aircon service in our city. They repaired everything quickly, and since then I haven’t had any problems with my home AC.
