Why does Word Translator wrongly translate some words/phrases/sentences?
Even the most expensive machine translation software on the market cannot correctly translate words/phrases/sentences which it does not have in its current dictionary. In many instances a minimal effort needs to be put into adding a few key words and phrases that are used in a particular translation domain which will in turn increase the accuracy of Word Translator dramatically. In this sense, Word Translator is like speech recognition software or optical character recognition software which must be trained before it can reach an acceptable level of accuracy. Users must be prepared to put this very basic and minimal effort in order to customize the dictionaries. Unless this key point is understood and acted upon Word Translator will not come alive nor will it be useful.
