We have learned to understand the language of the plants through the following: Higher levels of calcium are needed to protect the plant against disease. Higher levels of Copper and Boron are needed for the same purpose. A good case can also be made for Zinc, Manganese and Molybdenum for disease and pest resistance, as well as strengthening the plant.
