Unfortunately, sometimes CD-Door Guard is not able to close your computer’s CD-ROM’s door. This happens due to some peculiarities of Windows. There are usually two common cases when CD-ROM’s door can’t be closed automatically: It have been ejected without disk inside; Disk doesn’t run automatically after insertion because you have turned off this feature. Unfortunately, in these cases CD-Door Guard can do nothing because Windows doesn’t let it know that something happens with CD-ROM’s door. I can’t lock CD-ROM drive. Why does it happen? Probably, you try to lock virtual drive. Also some models of CD-ROMs do not allow to lock them when the door is opened. In other case, reboot your computer and try again to lock the device.
