Why doesn DTM for iSeries support the printing of graphics (signatures, logos and so on) in an SCS spooled file, just like OV/400?
OV/400 has always used an undocumented internal OS/400 API to put graphics in an SCS spooled file. This API was never available to customers nor business partners. Even though Inventive Designers has requested IBM to document and support this API, it has disappeared together with the full OV/400 product. As a result of this IBM decision, DTM for iSeries can not embed graphics in an SCS spooled file. Graphics are only supported in AFP and PCL5 spooled files.
