Why doesn God perform Biblical style miracles any more?
Most all of the biblical ‘miracles’ can and are explained naturally. The bible was composed over a series of years in which there was no system of learning about nature or geology or virtually none of the current fields of science. God proved to be the most effective explanation for these events, if these events ever happened. (it should be noted that few, if any, of the biblical miracles have ever been proven to have occurred.) So, in conclusion, it’s not that God does not perform miracles, it is that we have a greater understanding of the environment that surrounds us, and what might have once been labeled a miracle is now easily explained by modern science.
