Why doesnt InGrid rely on motion detectors like other home security companies?
Many home security companies install motion detectors because the cost of wiring all of the windows and doors in an average home is prohibitive to many consumers. InGrid has developed inexpensive two-way wireless sensors that are affordable, easy to install and have up to a ten-year battery life. The average home can now have full perimeter protection without being dependent upon motion detectors for protection. Full perimeter protection immediately alerts the monitoring service at the time of breach, rather than after an intruder enters the home (which is what motion detectors do). InGrid does offer optional wireless motion detectors should the customer want “double verification” of a break-in.
