The faculty of the Department of Physical Therapy encourages our students to come to Regis as undergraduates, interact with our faculty and students and explore the multiple major options our University offers. We know that students will explore a variety of options as they make important career choices and it is important to have flexibility in undergraduate coursework to secure the major that best suits your interest. By offering preferential admission, our students can choose from a variety of majors rather than be channeled to only one major. This broadens students’ perspectives as they move into a health field. Our history illustrates that Regis students who have the interest in physical therapy, maintain grade expectations, and successfully complete one of our undergraduate programs have a 95% success rate of admission into our Doctor of Physical Therapy program. There really is no need for guaranteed admission as a result of these success rates.
