Why doesn Southwest Airlines fly to Champaign?
Southwest Airlines is one of the few airlines that does not use a hub and spoke strategy but rather offers point-to-point service in primarily larger urban markets serving a minimum of 1,000,000 passenger boardings per year. When personal time as well as cost are considered, CMI offers value and convenience that often is quite competitive with larger “economy” airlines.
