Why doesn’t the site include the hotels’ phone numbers?
The LastROOm portal provides a computerized ordering system to hotels. The system’s goal is to avoid the process of selecting you vacation by speaking to a hotel’s sales representative, thus cutting the hotel’s expenses. The direct ordering service on our site will save you, the user, at least 5% of the cost of an order made for the same destination over the phone. Since the reservation is made directly through the computer, the reservation approval is a valid proof of the reservation, and there is no real need to verify by phone that the reservation was accepted. Importantly, the hotel’s telephone numbers and contact details are given in the final reservation approval sent to you by email once the order is made, and this will allow you to contact the hotel with any special requests.
