Why doesn venus have any moons?
Because of its size, it is unlikely that Venus is a moon that escaped Saturn. The current model for planetary formation indicates that many rocky planets formed in the inner orbits around the Sun. The objects smashed into each other to form the current planets. For example, the Earth and its moon were (probably) formed by the collision between two Mars-sized proto-planets. Venus was probably formed from similar collisions, except that they occurred at a slightly different angle than the one that formed the Earth-moon system. Instead of gaining a moon, Venus ended up with a strange retrograde motion. If Venus ever did have a moon, it might have formed too close to Venus and eventually spiraled inward. Edit: Read the article that I link to in my source. It has some good, new research about the formation about Venus and describes tests that can be done in the future to learn more about Venus. Edit: I’m not sure about the scope of your project on Venus, but there’s a lot of different ways
