Why don black women seek out potentially successful black men at a young age?
Well I’m still fairly young, 24, and have primarily tried to seek out and date black men who are on the same educational, financial, social and goal-oriented path as myself. Someone who is in school or working towards a successful, enriching, and stable future. For the girls who seek out “bad boys”, I think its merely a fantasy where they’re living in the moment and unaware of who that relationship would truly blossom in the real world. They haven’t really matured enough yet to understand what type of characteristic traits and qualities are truly important when looking for a good man.
