Why don more companies utilize pre-employment skills assessments?
I’m wondering why more companies don’t utilize pre-employment skills assessments to ensure they’re getting the best of the best. I often tell employers that it’s more important to look for the soft skills because they’re harder to train, but I do feel that hard skills must be assessed to make sure you’re getting the aptitudes you’re looking for. The costs seem quite reasonable, from my experience, so why don’t more companies invest a few dollars in per candidate before making offers?
