Why don you provide MEGA executables for MacOS or Linux?
The MEGA development team recognizes the growing importance and utilization of MacOS and Linux-based workstations in life science research. The task of maintaining MEGA’s large source code base while keeping pace with new features and the emergence of new computational methods requires a large investment of human and technical resources. In its current situation, the MEGA development team is unable to allocate the resources necessary to provide a quality port of MEGA to these alternative platforms. Therefore, we encourage the use of Windows emulators on these platforms until further notice.
