Why eagles being mentioned many times in Bible?
Eagles are beautiful and majestic in their own league. As we are royal blood when we received our sonship as heir to the throne with Jesus Christ. Mentioned 38 times in the Bible, these are the key characteristics of eagles:- 1) Both parents take care of their babies 2) They are gentle parents and feed their babies 3) The mother stirs the nest and let the babies drop and catch them with her wings – this is how she teaches them to fly. God wants us to fly – to become all that He intends us to become. He occasionally stirs us up so we will continue to grow in the likeness of Christ. (Deuteronomy 32:10,11 ” Like an eagle that stirs up its nest and hovers over its young, that spreads its wings to catch them and carries them on its pinions”; and Exodus 19:4 “He will carry the children of Isreal on eagles’ wings.” 4) After 30 years old, eagles will shed their feathers (bleeding and looking very ugly) until their new feathers grow – by this way, they will renew their strength and live longer
