The point is that English has been adopted as an official and unofficial language more widely than any other. This was due to British expansionism and a complete refusal to allow local languages when colonising, democratising, educating and legislating. The English paradigm was always taken and pursued viciously in any colony. After this, the hardest war which slaughtered millions, it seems bloody stupid to capitulate now to immigrant minorities that can’t/won’t speak the language in ostensibly English speaking territories. Why the hell should provision be made by the host government to print documents in any other language but the host language? If these people WANTED to be here, then the onus is surely upon them to learn the language as it is incumbent upon the host nation to protect and provide for them.
