Why even in 21st century men still want (expect) their women to cook for them?
It depends on sociological – cultural -ethnic – groups i think. There has been a trend in western culture for men to take more responsibility around the home doing housework / cooking and other hose hold chores. This is because western women have become more assertive and are treated has equals. Also modern life is so busy it has become necessary for both partners to work and in doing so both should share the household chores. There are however ethnic groups who resist this change in life style and still expect wives to be chattel and servants. Since this is a cultural thing its going to take time for the changes to migrate into the sociological make up of those groups who still see women has cooks and bottle washers.
