Why Handmade, French Milled 100% Castile Soaps?
While many ‘natural’ and ‘handmade’ soap makers are making claims that their soaps are the most mild, gentle soaps on the market. We know, and can state with absoluete confidence, that our products stand out from the crowd. Most soap makers have strayed away from pure olive oil soaps because of the time, cost and expertise required to produce an exceptional Castile soap. These soapmakers use refined, bleached and deodorized coconut, palm and animal oils so that they may shorten the time and reduce the skill level and cost required to produce their soap. However, due to the reduced overall quality and harsh chemical processing of these oils and soaps many people can and have been developing skin irritations from these “natural” soaps. Instead of using palm and coconut oils which are heavily refined using petroleum solvents to we use only cold-pressed oils or expeller pressed oils.
