Why have Christian bookstores quit selling Gospel music on phonograph records ?

I would venture to say for the same reason the secular stores have quit selling music on phonograph records. Phonographs and cassette tapes are things of the past. Everything is on CD these days.

Very few people still own working phonographs. Not only do the stores not stock phonograph records, but the music companies do not even manufacture them. Tapes either. You’ll have to get yourself an inexpensive CD system. Ask your friends where they got theirs.

I assume you haven’t been in a Christian bookstore in a long time. Welcome back to civilization.
