Because the system has a very detailed resolution in high frequencies, it may expose the poor quality of some audio sources (i.e. an MP3 file or an analogue cassette tape). The static in the audio source may not previously have been apparent when it was rendered on a system of less quality. You can test the Concept B 200 USB for static by connecting it to an audio source you know to be static-free like an audio CD played over a portable CD player.
